Council has proclaimed the month of June, 2023, as 'BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS MONTH' throughout the Town of Georgina to spread awareness and advocate the need to change the classification surrounding Traumatic Brain Injuries to a chronic condition in order to provide better management of care, validate the chronic nature of Traumatic Brain Injuries, reduce health care costs and improve the lives of those who live with this injury.
