The Town of Georgina is hosting a ceremonial flag raising in partnership with the Chippewas of Georgina Island in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.
The event will include a flag raising and smudging ceremony, as well as a drummer.
