COVID-19 vaccine information

The province has announced that, beginning Monday, Dec. 20, everyone aged 18+ will be eligible for COVID-19 booster appointments at the three-month interval. Appointments can be scheduled through Ontario’s booking portal, by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, through Indigenous-led vaccination clinics, participating pharmacies, primary care settings and york.ca/covid19vaccine. Appointments will be booked three months (84 days) after a second dose as the province expands booster eligibility. Additionally, pharmacies and other channels may provide boosters for 18 and over at the three-month interval starting Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 for walk-ins.

York Region Public Health is doing its best to make clinics and appointments available. New appointments are added daily, check back often to book an appointment. Demand has been high for booster doses. York Region Public Health thanks everyone for getting vaccinated and doing your part to protect yourself, your family and your community.

A vaccine clinic, run by York Region Public Health, remains in place at the Georgina Ice Palace.
