Town of Georgina Council meetings will be in-person again beginning on Wednesday, April 26. The meetings will be a flexible hybrid model, providing staff, Council members and the public the option of participating either in person or virtually.
At a Council meeting on June 22, 2022, Council directed staff to proceed with the flexible hybrid model for future Council meetings. This solution will be a more familiar view as it will be similar to Zoom. There will be dedicated cameras for each Member of Council.
Council meetings are broadcast through the Town’s live streaming tool. Anyone interested in speaking during the public portion of the meeting may attend in-person or virtually. To participate virtually, pre-registration is required. To pre-register for a meeting, a Request to Speak form must be submitted to the Clerks Division by noon the day before the meeting.
