It’s Election Day in Georgina. Voting will be in person only from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can vote at any of the following locations:
- Keswick Presbyterian Church
- Georgina Ice Palace
- The ROC (accessible voting location with assistive devices)
- Sutton Arena
- The Link
- Pefferlaw Lions Community Hall
- Udora Community Hall
All voting locations are physically accessible. A support person or a service animal may accompany any voter requiring assistance. Upon request, election officials will be available to help voters who require assistance. In addition, assistive voting devices will be available at the ROC location. These devices include braille keypads with large buttons, a sip-and-puff device, and audio headphones.
What to bring when voting
Identification (ID) will be required when you vote in person on Election Day. Remember to bring one or more pieces of identification showing your name and qualifying Town of Georgina address. Your Voter Identification Letter cannot be used as a piece of ID. A list of acceptable forms of identification can be found at georgina.ca/Election2022.
When to expect the results
Please be patient as you wait for the unofficial election results on Oct. 24. Eligible voters in line to vote at 8 p.m. must be permitted to vote. Election results will not be posted until the voting locations have all closed. Unofficial results will be posted to georgina.ca/Election2022. Voting results are considered unofficial until certified by the Town Clerk.
