The Town of Georgina extends congratulations to King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, on their coronation today as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, including Canada. Charles ascended to the throne on Sept. 8, 2022, upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The Town will light up the Civic Centre in emerald green tonight to mark the occasion.
