Official opening of two new amenities in Pefferlaw set for May 28

You are invited to the official opening of two new exciting amenities for the community of Pefferlaw. Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, May 28 at 3 p.m. to officially open the new outdoor sports zone on the Pefferlaw Ice Pad and the new community garden. Join Mayor Margaret Quirk and Members of Council, as well as other community partners, at Pefferlaw Park, 38 Pete’s Lane, for this special event.

Pump track and skatepark survey

The Town is seeking feedback on this exciting new feature for the community. A survey is now available online and we want to know your terrain priorities. The survey is open until May 31. The new park will be located between the Pefferlaw Ice Pad and the playground facilities. To take the survey, visit georgina.ca/PefferlawRecreation.

The Town announced new outdoor amenities for the community of Pefferlaw in 2022. Council approved a new pump track and skatepark, an outdoor sports zone on the Pefferlaw Ice Pad for use outside the winter season, improvements and enhancements to existing pathway connections and park amenities, and a community garden. The new amenities are on the grounds of Pefferlaw Park.
