Queen Elizabeth book of condolence

The Town of Georgina honours the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, at the age of 96.

The Town joins with people around the world in mourning her death. Our thoughts and condolences are with the Royal Family and everyone around the world mourning her loss.

Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926. She was the longest-reigning British monarch and longest-serving woman head of state in world history. Her reign saw the Queen as the head of 54 Commonwealth countries. The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrating 70 years of her reign was marked in 2022.

Queen Elizabeth devoted her life to public service and united people around the world through the support of her many causes.

The Town has lowered flags at Town facilities.

For anyone wishing to share messages in memory of the Queen, we encourage you to sign the book of condolence at the Civic Centre or online at the federal government’s virtual book of condolence.
