From May 30 to June 5, the Town of Georgina is celebrating National AccessAbility Week. This is a week dedicated to disability inclusion and accessibility in Canada. This year’s theme “Disability Inclusion 2021: Leaving No One Behind” is in line with the Government of Canada’s plan to build back better. It expands on the disability-inclusive approach, initiatives and measures the government has taken throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Georgina’s Accessibility Advisory Committee works to enhance efforts to make the Town accessible for everyone. To learn more about the committee, visit georgina.ca/CommitteesandBoards.
