Town of Georgina is excited to announce its first astronomy night in partnership with the York Simcoe Amateur Astronomers group.
Join us to explore the night sky at the Keswick Cemetery for this free viewing event. All equipment and telescopes will be provided and knowledgeable astronomers will be available to point out interesting features in the night sky. Be aware that this program is weather dependent and registration is required.
The Astronomy Viewing Night is scheduled to occur on the evening of Friday, July 12. In the event that the sky is not clear, the alternative viewing night will be changed to Saturday, July 13. If this occurs, you will be notified via email at least two days before the program date (ensure your contact information, both phone number and email are up to date at time of registration).
Food donations are encouraged to help support local food banks.
