A new year will soon be here and with it, a new look for the 2024 Waste and Recycling Calendar. Residents will see a new format for the calendar, an easy-to-use single-page double-sided calendar with the waste schedule and helpful waste and recycling tips. The 2024 calendar has been mailed and residents can expect to receive it in their mailboxes the week of Dec. 11, 2023.
The new calendar shows the entire year on one page, allowing for easy reference for waste weeks and other events throughout the year such as yard waste collection, bag tag exemption week and Curbside Giveaway Days. The calendar will also be available on the Town’s website to download.
For residents who prefer the larger format, the full-colour printed 28-page booklet-style calendar is also available. A limited number will be printed and be available for pickup as of Jan. 2, 2024 at the Civic Centre, the Link, the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts, and all three branches of Georgina Public Library. The full calendar will also be available on the Town’s website to download.
