Celebrate Canada Day at the ROC and Georgina Pioneer Village

Summer is almost here and that means it’s time to celebrate Canada Day. The Town of Georgina’s event takes place Monday, July 1 at the ROC and Georgina Pioneer Village from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., ending with a fireworks finale. It will be a fun day full of exciting festivities for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities, inflatables, food and more. The opening ceremonies take place at the main stage at 2 p.m. Avoid parking delays and take advantage of complimentary shuttle buses to and from the ROC all day long. Visit georgina.ca/CanadaDay for more information. The platinum sponsor for this year’s event is Premier North Windows and Doors.

The long weekend also means holiday closures. The Georgina Civic Centre will be closed on Monday, July 1 and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, July 2. Most Town facilities will also be closed on Monday, July 1.
