Enjoy some winter February fun in Georgina

Winter in Georgina is a great time to enjoy all the Town has to offer. From SnoFest to Family Day fun, there is something for every member of the family.

SnoFest
Come out for a day of winter fun at SnoFest at the ROC. It takes place Saturday, Feb. 1 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. This annual event features activities for all ages and includes games, food, live entertainment, an igloo dance party and more. Black History Month
The Town of Georgina recognizes and celebrates the month of February as Black History Month. It’s an opportunity to recognize the legacy of black Canadians, and to celebrate and commemorate the legacy, history and achievements black Canadians have made and continue to make. The Town is offering opportunities throughout the month to learn about African American culture. Learn more at georgina.ca/BlackHistoryMonth.

Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Swim
Bring your sweetheart for a swim and they swim for free. Enjoy some fun at the Georgina Leisure Pool for the Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Swim on Feb. 13 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. or at the Multi-Use Recreation Complex on Feb. 14 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wrist band policy and administration fee apply. Pre-registration is recommended.

Family Day
Looking for something to do on Family Day on Feb. 17? The Town has you covered. There’s public skating at the Georgina Ice Palace, Sutton Arena and the Pefferlaw Ice Pad, family programs at the Georgina Gym and Multi-Use Recreation Complex (MURC), swimming at the Leisure Pool and the MURC, and if you’re looking for outdoor fun, there’s always skiing, snowboarding, tubing and tobogganing at the ROC. 

Taste of Georgina
Taste of Georgina will run from Feb. 28, 2025 to March 9, 2025, to celebrate and promote Georgina's diverse cuisines by profiling dining experiences at a range of prix fixe price points. Each participating restaurant has prepared special menus that showcase its offerings. 

Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts – Jully Black
Looking for an entertaining night out? Get tickets to see Jully Black on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts. Named one of "the 25 Greatest Canadian Singers Ever" by CBC Music, Jully Black has been dubbed "Canada's Queen of R&B Soul." Tube for $25
Looking for winter fun? The ROC has you covered. Tube, ski or snowboard for $25 for two hours. The ROC is open Wednesday through Sunday. To learn more or book online, visit georginaroc.ca.
