Georgina Pioneer Village and Archives opens on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Venture into the heart of the past and discover the captivating stories, remarkable people and charming places that shaped the community. The village invites you to explore the roots of Georgina through carefully preserved artifacts, interactive exhibits and a nostalgic journey that captures the essence of days gone by.
Georgina Lawn Bowling Club open house
Come out to the Georgina Lawn Bowling Club open house on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free instruction and equipment provided. No experience necessary.
June is Recreation and Seniors month
Participate in a different recreation activity each day of the month. Choose an activity that fits your interests or try something new. Check the website for details. Summer program registration It’s time to plan your summer. Registration for summer programs opens Tuesday, June 4 at 8:30 a.m. Residents can sign up for everything from aquatics and beach swim lessons to senior programs and workshops.
Father’s Day Swim
Join us for our Father’s Day Swim at two locations this year. Bring your dad and he swims free with a paid admission at the Georgina Leisure Pool on Sunday, June 16 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. or the Multi-Use Recreation Complex on Sunday, June 16 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is not required.
Pefferlaw Pump Track and Skatepark grand opening
Get ready to shred! The new Pump Track and Skatepark is set to open on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The community is invited to join the Town for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Curbside Giveaway The next Curbside Giveaway Day is on Saturday, June 22. Put unwanted items out at the curb from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for other residents to take free of charge. Unclaimed items must be removed by 5 p.m.
Canada Day celebrations at the ROC
