Winter program and lesson registration
Are you looking for activities to keep your family active this winter? Registration for winter programs and lessons begins Dec. 3, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. Register online at georgina.ca/recreation, in person at local facilities or by phone at 905-476-4301. Early registration for ski and snowboard lessons is now open for ROC winter 2024/2025 season pass holders.
Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Art – Essence of the Nutcracker
Ballet Jorgen's Essence of the Nutcracker, taking place on Dec. 5 at the Stephen Leacock Theatre of Performing Arts, is a national treasure that will warm the hearts of young and old alike. Sutton Santa Claus Parade of Lights
On Dec. 7, Santa arrives in Sutton for the annual Santa Claus Parade of Lights. Beginning at 5 p.m. in Jackson’s Point, the parade travels down Dalton Road to High Street, then along High Street ending at the fairgrounds.
Santa to a Senior
Make a difference in the life of a senior during the holiday season by being a Santa to a Senior. Help the Town provide Christmas gifts for each long-term care resident at Cedarvale Lodge and River Glen Haven. Until Dec. 8, select a Christmas Wish tag from one of the local storefront locations, shop for your gift and deliver the unwrapped and unsigned gift back to the store. The locations are Canadian Tire (Keswick), Shoppers Drug Mart (Keswick), Shoppers Drug Mart (Sutton) and Giant Tiger (Sutton).
Link Winter Market
Join us at the Link Winter Market on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and enjoy artisans displaying unique treasures and handcrafted goods. Dive into the wintry ambiance, enjoy seasonal treats, and be sure to stop by the craft room and make a winter craft to take home.
ROC open house
Come out to the ROC annual open house on Saturday, Dec. 14. Register for snow school, get fitted for rental equipment and pick up your ROC season pass. Visit georginaroc.ca for more.

PIP opening
Do you love skating outdoors? Be sure to visit the Pefferlaw Ice Pad (PIP) this holiday season as it will be opening on Dec. 20, weather permitting. Visit georgina.ca/skating for more information.
Vintage Christmas – lights continue until Jan. 6, 2025
From Dec. 1 until Jan. 6, visit Georgina Pioneer Village from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. to stroll through enchanting holiday lights. Enjoy festive fun for the whole family, including photo ops, a snowman scavenger hunt and special holiday programs.

Holiday Camp – Dec 30, 31 and Jan. 2, 3
The Holiday Camp is a full day of camp at the Georgina Gym. There is lots to keep your child busy over the holidays. Activities will include arts, crafts, games, sports, outdoor activities and more. For additional information and to register, visit georgina.ca/camps.
ROC’N New Years Eve Family Bash
Ring in the New Year with family and friends at the ROC from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 31. Take part in fun family-friendly activities and enjoy entertainment including live performers. Kiddie countdown with a hot chocolate toast at 8 p.m. Admission is free. Regular prices apply for chalet menu items, tube and lift tickets.
