Town Council proclaimed Sunday, July 28th as 'Terry Fox Day' throughout the Town of Georgina in honour of Terry Fox and his 1980 Marathon of Hope, 5,373 kilometres from St. John's Newfoundland to Thunder Bay, and his legacy for cancer research fundraising.
