The Town of Georgina's eight communities
The Town of Georgina is geographically divided into eight communities. Georgina Fire and Rescue Services felt that using the neighbourhood polygons for determining risk rather than fire department response zones improved community engagement and buy-in. The Community Risk Assessment assesses risk at both a town level and at the more granular neighbourhood level.
