Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee

Each Term of Office, the Town of Georgina Council invites community members to sit on the Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee (GEAC).

The purpose of the Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee is to provide information, advice and assistance to Council and Staff on environmental issues impacting the Town. GEAC is an Environmental Advisory Body that will promote the stewardship, preservation, conservation, protection and enhancement of the natural environment including the shoreline and water systems and how our residents and communities can safely engage with that environment in a way that improves their health and wellbeing.
