The Town will only accept applications from registered non-profit or charitable organizations.

• Is a political party or political organization
• Is a religious organization or is celebrating a religious event
• Is a commercial entity or is celebrating a corporate event
• The intention of the flag raising is contrary to Town policies or bylaws
• Is an organization that espouses discrimination, hatred, violence or racism
• Is an organization that has already flown a flag on a courtesy flagpole within the same calendar year
• Is raising a flag of a nation that has already flown a flag on a courtesy flagpole within the same calendar year
• The intention of the flag raising is to defame the integrity of Council
• The event or organization has no direct relationship to the Town of Georgina
