The Town offers recreation, education and fitness opportunities and workshops for preschool-aged children (up to age 5) to attend.
Winter program registration
We’re gearing up for winter fun with a fantastic lineup of recreation programs. Enjoy a wide range of activities, from ski and snowboard lessons to swimming and fitness classes. There is something for all ages and abilities. Here are the important dates to keep in mind.
- Tuesday, Nov. 26, ROC snow school (season pass holders only)
- Tuesday, Dec. 3, resident registration opens
- Tuesday, Dec. 10, non-resident registration opens
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. for each date. Register online or on the phone, or see the locations where you can register in person. If you have any questions, reach out to us by email at eleisure@georgina.ca
Preschool Drop-in programs are available at several facilities across Georgina.

Familiarization/Safety/Cooking in the Kitchen. This is a great creative way for children to learn about cooking. Together preschoolers and parents will follow recipes, measure ingredients and of course taste testing. Participation is with parent.

Ballet Babies - Level 1

GIP - Multi-Purpose Room
Working in a creative manner to introduce basic coordination of the body through space, exploring different levels and qualities of movement. Marches, skips and gallops are introduced, using the imagination to help promote movement in a fun and creative way. Participation is without parent.
Ballet Babies - Level 2
At least 3 but less than 5
GIP - Multi-Purpose Room
Working from the moves learned in Ballet Babies - Level 1, participants will practice and enhance on their already developed skills. Continuing to use the imagination to help promote movement in a fun and creative way. Participation is without parents.
Hip Hop (3-5 years)

Hip Hop your way to the latest dance craze. These energetic, up beat, funky dance steps will have you moving to the music in a whole new way. Grab your running shoes and get ready to bust a move. Participation is without parent.

This is a perfect 30-minute class for the young dancers in your family. This is the start of their dance journey, and we will cover the basics of Jazz/Tap and creative movement. My First Sports

MURC - Gym A at Multi-use Recreation Complex
Is your preschooler interested in sports, but not sure which one to try first? Try a bunch! My First Sports is a great combination of sports for preschoolers playing them for the first time. A different sport is highlighted each week, focusing on basic techniques, participation and having fun. Each class includes a warm-up, floor exercises, the sport activity of the week, stretching and a cool-down.
